Our third in-person PaddleCon workshop will give you the keys to unlock the power on your stroke, while avoiding and treating common paddle related injuries. Led by Dr. Frank Skretch anchorpointpt.com Students will learn: • Top muscle movers of importance for paddlers & how to activate, strengthen and protect • Physical therapy concepts of tightness vs weakness, stability vs mobility, concentric vs eccentric • How to avoid common injuries • How to prep your body for paddling • Recovery strategies • How to avoid tendinitis and protect joint health What to bring: • yoga mat • 1-2 lax or tennis balls (myofascial lesson) • your paddle (mobility lesson) Location: Manhattan Beach Community Center 742 Dividing Road • Severna Park, Maryland Date: Mon, June 26 6:30-8p Early Bird Price: $32 (thru 6/10) Regular Price: $38 (starting 6/12) *CHESUPEAKE members receive 10% off workshop price.
